Workshops & Training
Practical training for better systems, clearer processes and more confident support.
Good training should make work easier the moment people return to their desks.
Opal & Ora provides practical workshops and tailored training for professional practices, expert witnesses, consultants and support teams who want to improve how work is organised, managed and delivered.
Our sessions focus on the real working day: inboxes, documents, systems, workflows, templates, AI, Microsoft 365, delegation, administration and the small operational habits that make a noticeable difference.
Training can be delivered as a presentation-style session, a tailored workshop, one-to-one support or focused training for administrative staff.
The aim is simple: useful, practical guidance that helps people work with more clarity, confidence and consistency.
Opal & Ora Insights
Presentation-style training for teams, firms and professional groups.
These sessions are designed to be practical, accessible and immediately useful. They can cover topics such as administrative efficiency, AI in professional work, Microsoft 365 time-savers, better workflows, delegation, document handling and the role of human judgement when using technology.
Opal & Ora Insights sessions are suitable for firms, expert groups, professional networks, in-house teams or small businesses who want focused training without unnecessary jargon.
Tailored Systems & Workflow Training
Some training works best when it is built around the way you already work.
We can provide one-to-one or small group training focused on your actual systems, documents and processes. This may include improving how you use Microsoft 365, organising files and folders, setting up trackers, managing inboxes, creating templates, using shared workspaces or making existing tools work harder for you.
This is particularly useful where a practice already has good tools but is not using them consistently or confidently.
Administrative Staff Training
Recruiting administrative support is only part of the solution. New or developing team members also need clear guidance on how professional support should be delivered.
We can provide practical training for administrative staff in legal, medico-legal and professional environments. This may include inbox management, diary coordination, document formatting, file organisation, communication standards, task tracking, confidentiality, working with fee earners or experts, and understanding the importance of accuracy and professional presentation.
The focus is not legal advice or professional decision-making. It is the practical administration that helps a practice run properly
When Training May Be Useful
Workshops and training may be helpful where:
- your team is not using existing systems consistently
- Microsoft 365 or other tools are being underused
- AI is being discussed but there is no clear practical guidance
- administrative processes vary from person to person
- new staff need structured support and confidence
- documents, templates or workflows are causing friction
- professionals are spending too much time on avoidable administration
- you want practical ideas people can use immediately
How Training Works
We begin by understanding who the training is for, what they need to improve, and how practical or strategic the session should be.
For group sessions, we agree the topic, format and level of detail in advance.
For tailored training, we look at your current systems, processes or pain points and build the session around what will be most useful.
For administrative staff training, we focus on the standards, habits and practical skills needed to provide reliable support in a professional environment.
Training can be delivered remotely or in person.
Opal & Ora Insights sessions may be offered as fixed-fee workshops, depending on the topic, format and audience.
Tailored Systems & Workflow Training and Administrative Staff Training are quoted individually, as the scope will depend on the systems involved, the number of people attending, the level of preparation required and the type of support needed.
We will always discuss your requirements first and provide a clear quote before any training is agreed.
Begin The Conversation
If your team would benefit from practical training on systems, workflows, administration, AI or everyday efficiency, we would be pleased to discuss what would be most useful.
We can talk through the topic, format, audience and level of support required, then provide a clear quote based on your needs.
